Adam Brooks Signs With ROH
Current Melbourne City Wrestling heavyweight champion Adam Brooks has signed with Ring of Honor. Brooks is considered one of the top Australian independent wrestlers in the country and has wrestled in every state at some stage of his career. Brooks has held the Riot City Wrestling heavyweight title, PWA championship, WZ heavyweight championship, among other championships.
Brooks was ranked #147 in the top 500 pro wrestlers in 2018 by PWI.
Below is from the official ROH website..
“Adam Brooks is the latest acclaimed international star to sign with Ring of Honor. The Melbourne, Australia native has never competed in an ROH ring in the U.S., but he has wrestled a number of ROH stars around the globe, including Matt Taven, Marty Scurll, Dragon Lee, Bandido, Mark Haskins and Brody King. In Brooks’ lone match for ROH, he faced then-ROH World Champion Jay Lethal in a Proving Ground Match in Edinburgh, Scotland in 2018. ”
Friend and fellow wrestler Mike Burr posted the following on facebook..
“I’m so incredibly proud of the best mate I’ve had in the locker room over the past 5 years! Other than my love & passion for wrestling, he is one of the other reasons I’ve stayed & kept pushing through year to year…
I’m sad that I’ll see less of you throughout the remaining years, but happy that you chased down that dream & goal you’ve had for so long.
Melbourne based Slex also signed with Ring of Honor back in December 2019.
